This course is designed for Officers of the Watch who wish to take a straightforward supplement or refresher to the IMO Model Course 1.27, as well as for anyone seeking knowledge of the Electronic Chart Display and Information System (ECDIS).
No prior experience is required to enroll, making the course accessible to beginners. However, a basic understanding of nautical concepts—such as terrestrial and electronic navigation—will support better comprehension.
